Criminal Justice Reform Projects
The Inter-Regional At-Risk Youth Link (I-RAYL)
The Inter-Regional At-Risk Youth Link (I-RAYL) brings together Pacific Community Resources Society
and TransLink
to help homeless and at-risk youth aged 10 to 15 who gather at SkyTrain (rapid transit) stations in the B.C. Lower Mainland.
I-RAYL links these youth to the supports they need to avoid being victimized or exploited by drug dealers or gang members. It uses resource workers and existing outreach programs to connect youth to housing, addiction services, counselling, school supports and other services they need in order to improve their lives.
For more information about the I-RAYL project, see the news release
